About UsWhy Families Across Pennsylvania Choose Drew Christian
For more than 25 years, Drew Christian has focused exclusively on education law — representing students in complex special education disputes, due process hearings, and federal litigation.
Since 2000, he has handled thousands of education law matters under:
The Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA)
Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act
The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
Federal civil rights laws
Unlike general practice attorneys, Drew’s work is devoted entirely to education law — providing deep knowledge of school systems, special education procedures, and student rights. Read more →

Before becoming a lawyer, Drew worked directly within Pennsylvania’s special education system as a Regional Interagency Coordinator, where he:
Reviewed psychological and educational evaluations
Assisted with IEP development and implementation
Coordinated services for students with complex disabilities
Worked closely with school districts and state agencies
He later represented school districts as defense counsel, gaining rare insight into how schools evaluate and defend claims — experience he now uses to advocate effectively for students and parents.

Special education cases are different from other legal matters. They affect a child’s future every single day.
Parents must send their child to school trusting that appropriate services will be provided. When that trust breaks down, families need an advocate who understands both the legal system and the educational system.
Drew Christian’s practice is built on one principle:
Every child deserves access to the resources necessary to succeed.
His goal is not only to resolve disputes, but to secure meaningful educational outcomes that support long-term success.
-
Drew Christian earned his:
Juris Doctor — American University Washington College of Law
Master of Public Administration — Widener University
B.A. Political Science — East Stroudsburg University
He is admitted to practice in:
Pennsylvania State Courts
U.S. District Courts (Eastern & Middle Districts of PA)
U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit
In addition to his legal work, Drew has lectured at professional conferences and served in elected local government leadership roles.
